Congratulations to Kurtis and his dog Summer who have now been reunited following Summer being seized as type and taken through court.

We were asked to help get Summer exempted as funds were extremely limited. Thanks to Dogs trust Summer was neutered and we had already covered microchipping, however it was discovered just a few days before time ran out to exempt that the court had not sent the order to Defra so Summer had not been allocated a registration number

Cue a huge amount of running around and telephoning of people (mainly by Andrea) we finally got the number on Wednesday and were able to get the exemption fee to Defra and the insurance certificate emailed just in the nick of time on the final day before time ran out.
